Today, hope shines brighter in Makorombo community Safroko Limba chiefdom . We just installed solar electricity in this rural community—one of many steps we’re taking to transform lives through our Youth in Agriculture for Education initiative. Our mission is bold but simple: empower communities with the tools they need to grow food, learn freely, and live with dignity. That means free education, clean water, solar energy, and seed rice to help them farm for food sufficiency. This is what real, grassroots change looks like. Children gathered in joy today, not just around the new solar light—but around the promise of a better tomorrow. But we can’t stop here. More villages are still in the dark. Why this work matters

CARDO combines community consultation with practical infrastructure and local participation. Residents help identify the priority, understand how the intervention will be used and contribute to the long-term care of community assets.
